Following a one-on-one meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Presidential Complex, and their co-chairing of the Fifth Meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, joint agreements were signed between Türkiye and Kazakhstan.
Within this framework, the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkish Maarif Foundation and the National Academy of Education Named After Ybyrai Altynsarin on the Initiation of Educational Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan" was signed by Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev.
Minister Tekin held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart prior to the signing ceremony. In a statement regarding the meeting, Minister Tekin said, "We believe that the initiatives to be carried out under the headings of International Turkish Schools, the Turkish Maarif Foundation, and the Turkish Language Teaching Center will further strengthen relations between the two countries."
Minister Tekin expressed his gratitude to his counterpart, Minister Beisembayev, for the strong cooperation, stating, "May our cooperation be beneficial for the children of both countries."
